Raubyn Rothschild
LEAD DESIGNER
After spending her formative years in Victoria BC, Raubyn moved to Toronto to attend the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University, obtaining a Bachelor of Interior Design. Raubyn remained in Toronto for 10 years and travelled extensively throughout Canada and the United States as a designer for the respected hospitality design firm Moncur Design Associates. She was involved in all aspects of the design process for hotel and resort clients including Fairmont, Hyatt, Hilton, Westin and Starwood properties.
Raubyn returned to Victoria BC in 2009, where she formed Rothschild West Design + Planning. Within 6 months she had completed her first restaurant project on the West Coast and was awarded an IDIBC award for Hospitality Design. For the past 13 years the momentum has continued, with notable restaurant, commercial and residential design projects that have gone on to win their own awards. Her varied work experience has given her the ability to understand each project as a whole, and allows her to find optimal design solutions to meet each client's objectives.
KATIE CSUKA

Katie graduated from Pacific Design Academy with a Diploma in Interior Design with Honours, where she was also named Valedictorian of her class. Her work was further recognized by the Victoria Visual Arts Society with an award for excellence in design.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Katie’s artistic abilities, creativity, and innate sense of style naturally guided her toward a career in interior design. She approaches every project with both imaginative vision and practical insight.
At Rothschild West, Katie contributes to the team through her ingenuity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, which are reflected in the projects she helps bring to life.
Dawn lang
project designer
Dawn's studies in Building Technology and Art History led her to pursue a degree in Architecture from Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she began working in Interior Design. Her travels across North America and Europe cemented her love of design and a zest for exploration. Dawn returned to Victoria to build her family and career and continues to explore the island and all that it has to offer.
After several years working on large infrastructure projects at the University of Victoria, Dawn relishes the opportunity she has now to create intimate and personal spaces with Rothschild West. She marries a breadth of technical skills with a keen eye, bringing passion and a dedicated excellence to each project.
